98- "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" by Lucinda Williams

Lucinda Williams is a country/rock singer originally from Louisiana (she is also the daughter of former US Poet Laureate Miller Williams, who spoke at Bill Clinton's second inauguration). Car Wheels on a Gravel Road  is her fifth studio album, released in 1998.  I really don't have a ton to say about this one. I've listened to it a handful of times now, and while it's enjoyable, it really just isn't my thing. I was also surprised to see an album from an artist I had never heard of in Rolling Stone's top 100 (this album is 98, and Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City is 115? Really?). It's folksy, mostly laid-back country rock... Not much more to say from me, I'm afraid. On to Master of Puppets , I suppose. Favorite songs: 2 Kool 2 Be 4-Gotten, Lake Charles, Right in Time
